Homeland Security & Emergency Management (M.S.)

This program prepares today's military personnel, law enforcement, IT specialists, emergency management professionals and similar individuals to anticipate and handle threats to public security and safety.  

Justice and Public Safety (M.S.)

The College of Public Policy and Justice offers a Master of Science in Justice and Public Safety. The college also offers a criminal justice program that explores detailed analysis of our criminal justice system and provides students skills that apply to law enforcement, security, corrections and juvenile justice.

The M.P.A. program at AUM prepares students for management positions in the nonprofit sector and various administrative and management opportunities in local, state, or national government. We equip students to be effective and ethical administrators in today's complex and multicultural environment.

Applied Economics (M.S.)

The MS in Applied Economics is the newest graduate program for the AUM College of Public Policy and Justice. The program is accepting applications for the Fall 2017 semester. The MS in Applied Economics has options in Health Care Economics, the Economics of Government and Law, and General Economics. It is a carefully designed program, which offers rigorous training in quantitative analysis, economic modeling, and econometrics. 

Political Science (M.P.S.)

The Auburn University at Montgomery master’s degree program in political science is designed for students who seek academic or professional careers. Students explore the leading literature in the key political science fields of American politics and international relations, receive advanced training in research methods, have the opportunity to take electives in comparative politics and data analysis, and undertake an independent research project on a topic of interest under the guidance of program faculty.

Geographic Information Systems (M.S.)

In the GIS program at Auburn Montgomery, you will learn to master the technology that makes GIS work. You will also study geography – learning to understand how the interaction between people and their environments impacts culture, economics, ideology and much more.
